What are they?

Dermal fillers are injectables that may be used for facial different areas to smooth wrinkles, restore volume, enhance volume, shape facial contours, and rehydrate the skin. As you age, your skin undergoes a number of predictable changes affecting the texture, volume and appearance.

The process of natural aging is caused by combination of 3 factors:

What to expect

After four or more treatments the length of time between treatments increases as each session appears to be cumulative. It may be that this treatment allows you to lose or unlearn the urge to frown as after several treatments there appears to be some permanent effect.

FAQ's

How long do fillers last?

Depending on the product, the fillers may last from 6-24 months. Duration also depends on other factors such as the type of treatment, skin condition, lifestyle and age.

Does it hurt?

There is a slight sting, however, we can offer some different numbing options such as local anaesthetic for the upper lip (about a ¼ compared to the dentist so it wears off a lot quicker in comparison), anaesthetic numbing cream and ice.

Down time?

Post-treatment there may be some redness and swelling. These will start to go down after the treatment, but may take a few days to fully subside. Bruising is always a risk, ask your practitioner how to minimise the risks. Cannulas can be used to place deeper fillers without the risk of puncturing blood vessels.

How much will it cost?

Every face is unique and so we must treat each person uniquely for the best possible results. Will I notice the difference right away?
